Public Information Officer
Lieutenant Baker serves many roles for the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. His primary function is being the Public Information Officer of the agency. On a daily basis Lt. Baker responds to requests from local and regional media inquiring about incidents, investigations, and agency issues. Lt. Baker also releases information to the public on a regular basis. Lt. Baker is also the agency Crime Prevention Officer. He oversees the agency Neighborhood Watch program.
