Hendrix Wanted

Canton, Cherokee County GA. March 26, 2010 - The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on January 24th this year in the Woodstock area. David Leon Hendrix, 29 years old of Marietta, is wanted for Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Robbery by Force, and Violation of Parole. He is considered armed and dangerous. The victim, Jimmy Cooper, 47 years old of Woodstock, was shot in the leg following an altercation with Hendrix. The injury was non-life threatening.

Hendrix is 5 foot 10 inches and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He has “GA.” tattooed to his neck. Anyone with any information related to the whereabouts of Hendrix is urged to contact the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office at 770-928-0239 or 678-493-4233.
