Sanchez Arrest

Woodstock, Cherokee County GA. June 21, 2010 -Agents with the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (CMANS) arrested a Lawrenceville man last night for Trafficking Methamphetamine. Denny Sanchez, 25 years of age, delivered approximately 5 ounces of Methamphetamine to undercover agents to an undisclosed location in Woodstock. Upon his arrest, agents located a loaded 9mm handgun at Sanchez’s feet. Agents also seized $2,500.00 cash and the Audi that Sanchez was driving. The street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be $22,000.00.

The two week investigation culminated when agents intercepted a phone call to a drug supplier in Mexico who subsequently instructed Sanchez to deliver the narcotics from Lawrenceville to Woodstock.

Sanchez is currently being held at the Cherokee Adult Detention Center without bond charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. If citizens would like to call in an anonymous drug tip to CMANS they can dial 770-345-7920.
