Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. December 1, 2001. At approximately10:00 a.m. Donny Hudgins, thirty- six years of age, of Canton, Ga. was arrested and brought back into custody by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office. Inmate Hudgins was found on walking on Hightower Trail near Highway 372 when Deputies came upon him. A call came into the Cherokee 911 center on Friday night alerting deputies that Hudgins had been in the area for the past few days. Deputies searched the area until they found him Saturday morning. He is charged with a Superior Court Bench Warrant Type B with the original charge being Child Molestation. He is being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center without bond awaiting trial.
