Press Release Car Crash

April 4, 2002

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. April 4, 2002. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating a car crash that occurred Thursday around 5:00 p.m..

The crash occurred on Woodstock Road. A black Buick was traveling north on Woodstock Road when the driver lost control of the car and went off the road into a ditch.

The driver of the car David Douglas, 37 years of age of Dawsonville, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Kennestone Hospital. The front passenger of the car, Norma Hulsey of Dawsonville also suffered serious injuries and was transported to Kennestone Hospital. The two-backseat passengers were treated on scene with minor injuries. Charges pending in result of the investigation.
