Press Release Arrest

June 5, 2002

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. June 5, 2002. On May 31, 2002 Corporal Gianfala, Deputy Sheriff Carr and Deputy Sheriff Chris Higgins of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at Noonday Mobile Home Park regarding juveniles walking around the park with car stereos. The juveniles had left the area upon the arrival of the deputies, but were later apprehended in a trailer that was occupied by another juvenile suspect. Upon investigation, deputies located numerous items taken from several vehicles in the mobile home park and learned that the juveniles had gone to the Phillips 66 Station, located on Towne Lake Parkway, and stole some beer. Both juveniles were charged with entering auto and theft by taking. They have been released to the custody of their parents.
