Press Release Child Molestation Arrest Update

July 31, 2002

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. July 31, 2002. On June 9, 2002 The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office received information from children and parents living at Shadowood Mobile Home Park that children in the neighborhood had been allegedly molested. On June 11, 2002 at approximately 10:30 p.m. detectives from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division performed a search warrant at the alleged perpetrator's residence. Detectives seized enough evidence that collaborated the story of the children. Greg Allen Bradley, 48 years of age of Acworth, Ga. was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and child molestation. Bradley's bond was set at $27,600 and has since been revoked.

Investigation had led to charges of nine more counts of child molestation, one count enticing a child, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, solicitation of sodomy and cruelty to children. Bradley is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with no bond pending a late August court date for the first two victims. Investigation is still ongoing and more charges are pending.
