Press Release Arrest in Escapee from Cobb County

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. August 19, 2002. On August 18, 2002 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Deputy Sheriff Matt Azaroff and Corporal Frank Reynolds of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious person call at the Corp of Engineers on Kellogg Creek Road.

Park Rangers called the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office concerning a male that was sleeping in the back of a blue van. Deputy Azaroff and Corporal Reynolds found evidence in the van that led them to believe the man had escaped from a jail facility. Keith Price, 26 years of age of Woodstock, Ga. was arrested on a warrant for escape from Cobb County. Price was transported back to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
