Woodstock, The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the arrest of Edward Matthew Berger, 22 years of age of Acworth, Ga..
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office released information this afternoon on the Atlanta News at approximately 5:30 pm. After the news aired, calls came into the Cherokee County Criminal Investigation Division alerting investigators to the location of Berger. Investigators followed up on the given information and apprehended Berger. Berger is charged with Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery and kidnapping with serious bodily injury. He is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
