Press Release Arrest

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. October 1, 2002  On September 12, 2002 deputies from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 713 Red Barn Road, Feed the Lambs, in reference to a burglary.

The perpetrator took miscellaneous items and did minor damage to the inside of the building. On September 23, 2002, The Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Feed The Lambs in reference to a second burglary. Along with taking miscellaneous items, the perpetrator completely ruined the inside of the building. On September 25, 2002, Feed the Lambs was burglarized for a third time. The perpetrator was able to steal a CD player, camera and other miscellaneous items. On September 26, 2002, Feed the Lambs had their back window broken with no signs of burglary. Interviews with surrounding neighbors gave Detective Weber and Detective Ledford information that a juvenile had been wandering the neighborhood during the day and did not appear to be attending school. Later that afternoon, a neighbor spotted the juvenile hiding near Feed the Lambs and called the Sheriff's Office.

Detective Weber and Detective Ledford arrested the 14-year-old juvenile on three counts of burglary and one count of criminal trespass. The juvenile is currently being held at the Paulding County Youth Detention Center.
