Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. October 21, 2002 At approximately 10:40 a.m. October 19, 2002, The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to 551 Arnold Mill Road in reference to two people being injured.
Upon arrival to the residence, deputies found two of the residents, victims of a home invasion/robbery. The husband of the residence died during the home invasion. The wife of the residence was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations are investigating the incidents and are asking anyone with information concerning this incident to contact the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 770-928-0239.
