October CID Statistics

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. November 6, 2002  During the month of October 2002, The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) reported a total of 454 cases assigned. Out of the 454 cases filed, $264,097 in property value was stolen. As a result of these cases being solved, $97,538 or 36% of stolen property has been recovered. In the 454 cases filed in October, 230 or 50% were solved this month alone.

CID has been assigned 4,547 cases year-to-date with 2,200 or 48% being resolved. The amount of property stolen to date is $2,306,286. Of that property amount, $1,077,569 or 46% has been recovered so far this year. The information coming from the community aides the Criminal Investigation Division in the successful outcome in so many cases filed through the division.
