November Criminal Investigation Division Statistics

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. December 4, 2002  During the month of November 2002, The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) reported a total of 319 cases assigned. Out of the 319 cases filed, $284,704 in property value was stolen. As a result of these cases being solved, $36,250 or 36% of stolen property has been recovered. In the 319 cases filed in November, 119 or 37% were solved this month alone.

CID has been assigned 4,866 cases year-to-date with 2,319 or 47% being resolved. The amount of property stolen to date is $2,590,990. Of that property amount, $1,113,819 or 42% has been recovered so far this year. The information coming from the community aides the Criminal Investigation Division in the successful outcome in so many cases filed through the division.
