Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. December 10, 2002 Recognizing the rise in child abductions in the United States and the need to better train his staff, Sheriff Roger Garrison has requested the Center for Missing and Exploited Children to conduct two specialized training sessions at the Cherokee County Public Safety Facility. Patrol deputies, investigators and members of the Sheriff's Command Staff will participate in the training on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
