Ball Ground, Cherokee County, Ga. December 23, 2002 At approximately 3:00 pm., The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit responded to a fatal car crash on Highway 5 at Jordan Road.
A Ford Taurus was traveling north on Highway 5 when a red dump truck was attempting to make a left turn off of Jordan Road onto Highway 5. The dump truck hit the passenger side of the Taurus killing the passenger. The driver of the Taurus and the Dump truck did not sustain any serious injury and were treated on scene.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the fatal car crash.
