Serious Injury

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. February 9, 2003   On January 8, 2002, at 3:15 p.m. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to Queensbury Subdivision regarding a person that appeared to be injured.

Deputies at the scene learned a pickup truck had entered the subdivision and rounded the corner of Queensbury Place when a passenger in the back of the truck fell out of the truck and landed on his head. The juvenile injured, Chase Brown, 16 years of age of Acworth sustained serious head injuries and was air ambulance to North Fulton Regional Hospital.

The driver of the pickup truck, Christopher Minor, 19 years of age of Acworth, and the other juvenile passenger did not receive any injury. Christopher Minor has been charged with reckless conduct and no seatbelt.
