Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. May 19, 2003 At approximately 12:30 a.m. on May 19,2003, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office was assisting the Georgia State Patrol with a vehicle accident northbound on Interstate 75 approaching Glade Road.
A tractor-trailer heading southbound struck the back of a white passenger van, which sent the van across the median striking the back end of the Georgia State Patrol vehicle. The force upon impact sent the trooper's vehicle into the back end of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office vehicle.
The passenger in the rear of the Georgia State Patrol car received minor injuries and was ground transported.
Georgia State patrol is investigating the crash.
