Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. May 21, 2003 Friday is the start of the Memorial Day Weekend and Saturday is graduation day for all of the local high schools. To help keep our roads more safe during the holiday weekend the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office will have extra officers patrolling our streets. Deputies will focus their efforts on speed violators and drivers under the influence.
