Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. June 18, 2003 At approximately 4:30 a.m., Deputy Sheriff D. Combs and Deputy Sheriff Davenport of The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office were patrolling Bells Ferry Road when the deputies noticed a vehicle pulling into Joe's Texaco, which of that time of the morning appeared suspicious. The deputies followed the vehicle to the storage facility which is located in the back of the Texaco parking lot where they were able to talk to the driver of the vehicle. The driver gave the deputies consent to search the vehicle, where they found tools and items in the car that led them to believe the suspect was attempting to burglarize the storage facility.
Jeff Bostic, 38 years of age of Dallas, Ga. is charged with Loitering and Prowling and Possession of tools for the commission of a crime. Bostic is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a bond amount of $6,150.
