Serious Injury Car Crash

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. September 25, 2003  On September 24, 2003, at approximately 4:30 p.m. the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit responded to a vehicle crash with serious injury on Highway 92 at Wiley Bridge Road.

A blue Audi A6 was traveling westbound on Highway 92 when it crashed into a black Ford Explorer, traveling eastbound on Highway 92, attempting to make a left turn on a red light onto Wiley Bridge Road.

The driver of the Explorer, Marie Gonzalez of Alpharetta, is seven months pregnant and critically injured. Gonzalez was ground transported to Kennestone Hospital. The driver of the Audi A6, Kathy Hadjiconstantinidis 27 years of age of Alpharetta, was seriously injured and ground transported to Kennestone Hospital.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the crash.
