Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. November 14, 2003 It is that time of year again, a time when we are all so busy with our own holiday activities that we often forget about those in need. We can help spread holiday cheer to needy families and children by donating to the Christmas Joy Program.
The Sheriff's Reserve Unit are collecting donations for their annual Christmas Joy program beginning November 18th at 8:00 pm. The Junior Service League of Woodstock will present the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit a donation check to kick off the annual Christmas Joy event. The event will occur at the Good Faith Samaritan Church in Woodstock. The Christmas Joy program collects donations providing assistance to the needy of Cherokee County. The money collected will buy food and toys/gifts for needy children and families in Cherokee County.
