Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. February 6, 2004 The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office made an arrest of Christopher Jackson, 33 years of age, of Calhoun, Ga Jackson is charged with false imprisonment and false impersonation of a peace officer. Jackson is currently being held at the Cherokee Adult Detention Center.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office took reports last week regarding an individual who had represented himself as a law enforcement official. In both incidents a white car with a single blue light in the dash has stopped a female. The incidents occurred on Killian Street off of Univeter Road and Highway 140 near Waleska. The male approached the car and asked for a license and gave an explanation that he needed to check credentials on the vehicle. The suspect gave the information back to the females and never made any threats or did any harm to the complainants
