Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. May 19, 2004 At approximately 12:45 p.m. the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to Woodstock High School regarding a student struck by a vehicle.
A 15-year-old male was leaving school after taking his finals when a vehicle in the parking lot of Woodstock High School struck him. The student was attempting to dodge vehicles in the parking lot when he failed to see an oncoming Jeep Grand Cherokee and was struck by the vehicle. The male suffered serious injuries and was air ambulanced to Atlanta Medical Hospital.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the incident. The driver of the vehicle will not be charged in this incident.
