Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. June 7, 2004 The Cherokee County Criminal Investigations Division (CID) arrested a suspect in a Child Molestation case.
Detectives have arrested Keith Edward Ashley, 33 years of age of Canton, Ga on charges of three counts of Child Molestation and three counts of sexual battery. Detectives were called out to Sweetwater Campground, June 5, 2004 at approximately 7:00 pm, where complaints were made against Ashley for inappropriately following females at the campsite. Investigators received information that Ashley allegedly swam in the water and had inappropriate contact with three female juveniles. Ashley is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a bond of $68,025.
