Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. June 17, 2004 A dump truck driver, from Westmoreland and Sons, was attempting to dump his load from a roll off trailer when another dump truck from Cherokee Property Maintenance, was attempting to back into the same area struck and killed the Westmoreland and Sons driver. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 am at Wood Tech LLC, located at 6119 James Dupree Lane. Joseph Rolek, 60 years of age of Cartersville, Ga , the driver of the Westmoreland and Sons dump truck, later died at the hospital.
