Fugitive from Justice Located and Arrested

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. July 6, 2004  On July 3, 2004, at approximately 4:30 pm, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office received information a person wanted for escapee from the Michigan Department of Corrections was living at 96 Fountain Circle. Steven Craig, 32 years of age, has been living in Cherokee County, but his real name is David Lee Cobb and was wanted in Michigan for escape. Deputies received information that Cobb had been living in Fountain Lake Mobile Home Park and was seen in the area that day. Deputies located Cobb on July 4th in the Fountain Lake Community and arrested him on charges of giving false name and fugitive from justice. Cobb is being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
