Arrest in Entering Auto Case

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. July 9, 2004  The Cherokee Sheriff's Office has made an arrest of one adult and one juvenile involved in six entering autos incidents and a burglary that occurred in the early morning in the Southland Subdivision, located off of West Wiley Road.

A victim of the entering auto crime, followed footsteps found in the dew of their yard to a residence located in the subdivision. The information deputies and detectives received from the victim led to the arrest of one 16-year-old male juvenile and William Scott Lee, 17 years of age of Woodstock, Ga. Both suspects are charged with 6 counts of entering auto and one count of burglary. The juvenile has been released into the custody of his parents pending a juvenile court date. Lee is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
