Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. August 4, 2004 Cherokee County Sheriff Roger Garrison is very proud to announce the Sheriff's Office closed the month of July, 2004 4.83% under budget. This is the seventh straight month the Sheriff's office has been under budget for 2004. The following percentages are what each division has utilized of their budget as of July: Administration Services- 45.4, Criminal Investigation Division-55, Uniform Patrol Division-57.1, S.W.A.T.- 68.9, Court Services-43.7, Adult Detention Center-52.4, Office of Professional Standards-40.
"These figures are remarkable considering we are living in very tough economic times. It is my responsibility to ensure the Sheriff's Office operates as efficiently as possible and within the parameters established by the Board of Commissioners," said Sheriff Roger Garrison
