Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. August 13, 2004   On August 12, 2004, The Cherokee Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit arrested Gail Cooper, 56 years of age of Acworth, Ga. on five counts of conspiracy to commit the crime of felon in possession of a firearm.

Cooper, a friend of Sheridan's, was given possession of Sheridan's weapons after his conviction of Aggravated Stalking and theft by taking last year. One of the weapons Cooper gave back to Sheridan was the weapon used in the shooting incident involving Deputy Sheriff Neal.

Cooper is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention with a bond $27,750.
