Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. October 8, 2004 At approximately 1:30 pm, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to 224 Transart Parkway, in the subdivision of the Falls of Cherokee, regarding a juvenile that had been injured. Deputies received information that a three year old was playing in a four-wheel toy at the residence. The juvenile was going down the driveway, which is at a decline, and ran into the back of a parked pickup truck. The juvenile sustained fatal injuries and died upon arrival at Kennestone Hospital. Preliminary information indicates the incident to be an accident. The Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.
