Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. November 2, 2004 On October 28, 2004, The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 140 at Arnold Mill Road in reference to a serious injury car crash.
A blue Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on Highway 140 when the vehicle crossed over a solid yellow line in an attempt to avoid hitting another vehicle. The vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and left the roadway and hit a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, Eugenia Yepifantseva, 59 years of age of Canton, Ga. was air ambulanced to Grady Memorial Hospital. The driver of the vehicle died today of injuries sustained during the crash.
The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the fatal car crash.
