Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. November 29, 2004 At approximately 1:30 p.m. the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 140 (Reinhardt College Parkway) approximately one mile North of Highway 108 to investigate a fatal injury car crash.
Preliminary investigation indicates a red passenger vehicle crossed over the centerline and hit a tractor-trailer traveling west on Highway 140. A third passenger vehicle was traveling behind the red vehicle was also involved in the crash.
The driver of the red passenger vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was air ambulanced to Atlanta Medical Hospital where he died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the third vehicle sustained minor injuries and was medically treated at the scene of the crash.
