Arrest in Entering Auto

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. January 31, 2005   On January 29, 2005 at approximately 4:30 pm, The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to Etowah Motors regarding a person in the automobile lot.

Corporal William Thompson saw a vehicle parked in the adjacent buildings parking lot that was still warm and appeared to have just been parked. Corporal Thompson and Deputy Sheriff Arnold found the perpetrator had climbed the fence of the lot to gain entry. Corporal Thompson and Deputy Sheriff Arnold climbed the fence and found the perpetrator inside a vehicle attempting to remove a VCR and TV from the vehicle.

Deputies arrested Chris Blalock, 34 years of age, of Woodstock on charges of Criminal Trespass and Entering Auto. Blalock is currently out on bond.
