Robbery on Hwy. 92

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. February 3, 2005  On Friday, February 4, 2005, at approximately 2:00pm, a robbery of a motorist occurred along Highway 92 at Wiley Bridge Road. The female victim reported that she had just left a bank on Highway 92, where she had cashed a check, and had a flat tire on her vehicle. The victim pulled into a church parking lot where two Hispanic males approached her offering assistance. One Hispanic male held the victim to the ground while the other took the victim’s purse from her vehicle. The suspect’s left the scene in a green minivan with rear end damage bearing a Georgia Tag #9678 ASE. Tag is believed stolen from another vehicle. The following day Norcross Police reported a similar robbery occurring when a victim left a bank, her vehicle had a flat tire and the victim was robbed.
