Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. March 25, 2005 On March 23, 2005, Detectives from The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) arrested Ronald Hunter Hooks, of Canton on two counts of Child Molestation. The investigation began after Debra Collins reported to the Sheriff’s Office that her boyfriend had inappropriate contact with her 10-year-old daughter. Further investigation revealed two separate occasions of inappropriate actions by Hooks involving the child. Hooks is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a bond of $66,600.
