Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. March 30, 2005 On March 30, 2005, Gregory Bomeisl, 40 years of age, Woodstock, Ga was booked in at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center on charges of Misdemeanor Battery. The investigation began when Bomeisl reported to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office that in the process of disciplining his child he caused two marks on the child’s leg. Bomeisl, a reserve deputy for the Sheriff’s Office, felt compelled to report the incident expressing his remorse for the incident. Detectives found no malicious intent to harm the child.
Bomeisl is currently out on a bond of $975.
