Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. July 12, 2005 Deputies from the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Gregory Lane Apartments, located on Bells Ferry Road, regarding a body of a young black male found outside on the apartments. The victim died as a result of an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head. The victim is identified as Rodney Antonio Rivers, 20 years of age, Austell, Ga. There are no suspects at this time.
