Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. July 18, 2005 On Sunday, July 17, 2005, at approximately 6:00 pm, a female entered the Country Cupboard located at 2385 Highway 92 demanding money from the clerk of the store. When the clerk did not let the female have any money, she left the store. The clerk of the store was able to give the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division a perfect description of the suspect and the vehicle make and tag.
Deputy Sheriff Brunson located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, which led to the arrest of Colleen Gibbs, 37 years of age, Acworth, Ga. Gibbs is charged with Criminal attempt to commit Armed Robbery. Gibbs is currently being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center with a bond of $8,350.
