Acworth, Cherokee County, Ga. July 26, 2005 At approximately 1:00 p.m. two juvenile boys were riding their bicycles in the Lake Forrest Subdivision. Both of the cyclists were traveling down a hill located on Ridge Tarn Road when they were met by a gold SUV traveling down a hill in the opposite direction. The SUV swerved right to avoid striking the child. The child on the bike swerved in the same direction to avoid the SUV when both ended up colliding. The cyclist, Anthony Pence, 12 years of age, of Acworth, Ga sustained serious injury and was air-ambulanced to Scottish Rite Hospital.
