Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. August 20, 2005 At approximately 3:30 am deputies were dispatched to 2804 Andover Way regarding a party at the residence. Deputies received further information that a person was injured and was currently at the parking lot of Blockbuster located on Towne Lake Parkway and Eagle Drive. The person injured, Jonathan Simpson, 19 years old of Woodstock, Ga, was taken to Kennestone Hospital where he later died from blunt force trauma to the head sustained at the party the deputies were originally dispatched to.
Jeremy Gould, 20 years of age, resides at the address where the party occurred and has been charged with Murder. Gould is currently being held at the Cherokee Adult Detention Center without a bond.
