Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. February 1, 2006 On Friday, January 27th near 3:00 P.M. a driver for Taxi Express arrived at Shadowood Mobile Home Park to pick up a fare. The passenger directed the driver to the rear of the park where he suddenly snatched an undetermined amount of cash from the driver.
Later on January 27th - near 7:00 P.M. a driver for Eagle Taxi arrived at Shadowood Mobile Home Park to pick up a fare. The passenger directed the driver to the rear of the park where the passenger claimed to be armed with a handgun and took an undetermined amount of cash from the driver.
The suspect was later identified as Anthony Bagley, 21 years of age,. who lived in the park. It was determined the suspect had fled to North Carolina. Detectives with the Violent Crime Unit located the suspect in Elizabeth City, North Carolina where he was arrested by local authorities. Bagley awaits extradition to Georgia and is charged with: Robbery; and Armed Robbery.
