Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. March 9, 2006 On Thursday, March 09, 2006 at approximately 5:00 PM a suspect approached a 74 year old male at , Cherokee County Recycling Center on Blaylock Rd., which is where the victim works. The suspect claimed his vehicle was out of gas and asked victim to take him back to his vehicle with gas. Once in victim’s vehicle, the suspect produced a handgun demanding money from victim. After taking an undetermined amount of money from victim and victim’s watch, the suspect forced victim out and left in victim’s vehicle.
Suspect is described as: B/M approximately 30 years old – 5’ 6” 160 lbs. – wearing a red and blue hat – black clothing.
Victim’s vehicle is a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado white with blue stripe – Ga. Tag# UAW 10 – truck has veteran’s stickers on back window. If anyone has any information regarding the incident or the location of the victim’s vehicle is asked to contact the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office at 678-493-4080.
