Carjacking/Wanted Person

Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. March 17, 2006   On March 9, 2006 near 4:30 p.m. the victim - 74 year old male -while at work (Cherokee Recycling on Blaylock Rd.) was approached by a Black Male (later identified as Larry Henry) with Henry claiming he was out of gas and requested the victim to take him to his car with gas. The victim left with Henry at which time Henry produced a handgun - demanding victim's money and watch. Victim complied and was then forced out of his truck by Henry. Henry left in the victim's 1989 Chevrolet Truck. Victim's truck was recovered the following day nearby.

Suspect has been identified as: Larry Darnell Henry B/M 33 y.o.a. 5' 8" - 130lbs. last known to frequent the area of South Cobb Drive in Cobb County.

Henry is charged with: Armed Robbery; Kidnapping; Aggravated Assault; and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Henry should be considered armed and dangerous.
