Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. March 20, 2006 On March 19, 2006 at approximately 4:30 p.m. a juvenile walking along a path in a wooded area near Hwy. 92 and Wade Green Rd. discovered the body of a black male lying near a cell tower. Investigation has revealed no obvious cause and manner of death. The victim appeared to have been placed at this location after his death. It is believed the victim’s body had been at this location for a relatively short period of time. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, March 20, 2006 at the G.B.I. Crime Lab. The victim has been as identified as: Leonardo Dekoven Ervin 42 years of age. Ervin last known residence is Acworth, Ga.not been determined.
