Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. March 9, 2006 On Sunday, March 19, 2006, at approximately 3:00 a.m. a 49 years old was robbed and beaten on Canton St. The suspect escaped with an undetermined amount of cash. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.
On Tuesday, March 21, 2006 members of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Division arrested a 16 year old male suspect in connection with the robbery. The juvenile was charged with: Robbery; and Battery. The juvenile is being held at the Youth Detention Center in Paulding County
