Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. August 2, 2006 At 11:00 a.m. three men entered a residence located in the Cherokee Estates subdivision. The owner of the residence was hiding in the closet as she called 911 for assistance. The suspects were in the process of taking things from the residence when they spotted the owner of the residence and were scared off the premise. After receiving a lookout on the suspect’s vehicle, deputies spotted them a few miles from the scene. The suspects fled into the woods and were quickly captured by the officers.
Detectives interviewed the suspects and learned the three had performed the same type of Burglary earlier today at a residence located in Shadowood Mobile Home Park Detectives arrested:
Adrian Flores Martinez, 23 years of age of Roswell, Ga.,
Agustin Morales Morales, 20 years of age of Roswell, Ga., and
Jose Israel Puga, 20 years of age of Roswell, Ga.
All three suspects are charged with two counts of Burglary and are being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. The bond amounts of the suspects is $22,200. Sheriff Garrison stated that "good old fashion policing is what put these suspects into custody."
