In an effort to better assist victims and witnesses of crime, Sheriff Roger Garrison would like to remind the citizens of Cherokee County that the Sheriff's Office's victim/witness coordinator is Captain Ed Lacey. If anyone has been the victim of a crime in Cherokee County and needs assistance they should contact Captain Lacey at (770)928-0239. In addition, the District Attorney's Office has a designated victim/witness coordinator, Jennifer Williams who may be contacted at (770)479-1488 by victims or witnesses to crime. Both agency's contacts may be able to provide referrals to resources for financial and/or counseling assistance.
