Arrest in Entering Auto Case

Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. November 2, 2006 - On October 19, 2006, residents in the Eagle Glen and Etowah valley subdivisions reported approximately eight incidents of entering auto. The vehicles were left unlocked and unattended. The victims reported items such as purses, money, jewelry, cell phones and other electronic devices missing from their vehicles.

On November 1, 2206 the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division developed a juvenile suspect in the entering auto cases. Further investigation resulted in the identification of three additional suspects who were involved in the incidents and a Burglary that occurred at the Terraces Apartments main office, located at 1345 Towne Lake Hills South in the southend of the County. All four juveniles have been arrested. One juvenile has been charged with 8 counts of entering auto and Burglary. Two of the juveniles were charged with Burglary. The last juvenile was charged with 8 entering autos. Two of the juveniles are currently being held at the Paulding Youth Detention Center.
