Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. November 27, 2006 - At approximately 7:00 am , the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle car fatality located at East Cherokee and Union Hill Road. A black mustang left the roadway and struck a tree. The male driver, Cody Wilder, 19 years of age of Cherokee County died at the scene of the car crash.
The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the crash.
