Canton, Cherokee County, Ga. May 15, 2007- The Cherokee Sheriff's Office has released their 2006 annual report. The annual report provides 2006 statistics for each division within the sheriff's office. The report also describes the function of each division and accomplishments from 2006.
Some of the programs highlighted in the 27 page report include Project Lifesaver, Offender Watch, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and a new Gang Intelligence Unit. Citizens can view the 2006 Annual Report at the Cherokee Sheriff's Office Website located at www.cherokeega-sheriff.org.
